I’ve been coming here for a long time. I will say as far as the employees they have gotten a lot better. Guadalupe is always very friendly and helpful. Only thing I dislike is the fact that people leave their clothes sitting in the dryer and I understand the employees not wanting to remove it to avoid conflicts because it’s not the best group of customers that come here but it is very frustrating. Also dislike that there’s times where there’s multiple dryers out of service all the time. But it has improved a lot.

While waiting on the appliance repair to come we brought out laundry here. Annette was a wonderful, very helpful attendant! I think she could tell we were new at this 😉 and she was very patient and helpful to answer all our questions – multiple times. The place was kept very clean. They have a large restroom. There is a sink to rinse in. They only take cash. There is a money exchanger but it does not accept credit cards. Washers are $3.50 for small loads, $5.50 medium, $6.50 ex-large, $7.50 for the gigantic commercial 7 basket load size washer.Dryers are large. 25 for 5 minutes. Definitely well-kept. Thank you Annette. She acts like she likes her job and wants to be there to help people.

Today was my first time and I must say initially I had mixed feelings bc when I arrived the floor was covered with trash, but once Mrs. Shay arrived, things changed for the better. As soon as she walked through the door, she greeted the customers and went right to cleaning. I had a problem with one of my dryers and she went and cleared all of the lint traps and explained why the dryer would not heat. My time plus was restored and she even returned a few times to make sure I was ok. Not sure when my machines at home will be online again, but it’s nice t o know I have a place to come to and not have to deal with added stress.

I’ve been dropping my bulky comforters off at the mat for some time now because my washer and dryer are too small. Val always takes care of me and I have never been disappointed. Open 24/7!We were even open on the 4th of July! Makes things ten times easier to get done when life is chaotic! Why should getting your laundry done be a burden also? I also like the app they use to pay for the washers & dryers. However if you prefer an alternate way of paying, they take coins & have a coin dispenser on-site! Only downfall (why i gave 4 stars) is they only have 1 mega washer & 2-3 large washers which I feel like everyone fights/waits for…would be so much better if like 3 of the top loaders were replaced with either of those two types of larger front load washers.especially since you can’t fit or wash blankets in the top loaders.

CASSANDRA’S THE BEST! I live in an apartment and the laundry room is right underneath me. I’m disabled and don’t drive but the washers and dryers and even the water are horrible. I’ve checked all the laundry mats in my area and found that Newport is the best. It’s not the closest to me but well worth the time. When I walked in Cassandra went above and beyond to help me.

Nice Helpful Staff We didn’t like the prepaid card idea where you have to pay $1 for the card and the prices are not even no biggie just different, for example the dryers are 0.35 and the washer is 2.35. There was gum in most of the dryers too.

I have been coming to this place for a year now, and I am thrilled with the customer service. They go the extra mile to accommodate their customers. I lost my card and not only they reimbursed me but they paid for dry services. I also like the fact they do a lot for the community by providing resources and FREE bread to people. What an awesome idea. I am very impressed and I strongly recommend this business to anyone! Kudos to owner Gigi’s and her staff!

The staff has always been very attentive and courteous, not just with me, but any time I have heard/seen them interact with other patrons. A couple of times it was not as tidy as I am used to seeing it, but I just assumed it had been a busy day before I arrived because for the most part, it is always clean. In my last few visits I have noticed more signs of washers and dryers out of service; I hope that gets addressed soon. While I understand there is wear and tear to the equipment, when it starts becoming limited and one has to wait for washers or dryers, it starts becoming an inconvenience. As others have mentioned, I really admire them for often having bread and other stuff that I presume has been donated for their patrons to take. It does really feel like a place who is concerned about the community and I hope it continues to do that. My only suggestion is that they add a bin or two for recycling. A lot of the laundry packaging is either cardboard or plastic that is recyclable, and Wilmington does have recycling pick up so it wouldn’t take much effort to add a couple of bins and contribute toward the protection of the environment (and to offset the carbon footprint of a laundromat in general).

One of my favorite local Laundromats in the city of Wilmington, Delaware. Clean and no-hassle laundry experience. This establishment is electronic card based to access the washers and drying machines which offer free drying time. Cards can be purchased and reloaded at the self-serve kiosk located at the entrance. This Laundromat is usually open daily beginning around 7 AM. It’s located down the street from the Saint Francis Hospital. Good place to do your laundry. Highly recommended!

I came into this laundry mat last week for the 1st time. I have to say, I was impressed! The woman you see in these pictures today was doing the same thing this week as she was last week, cleaning the glass doors, sweeping the rugs and floor, adjusting the rubber the keeps the dryers doors closed and secure while drying, all while saying a quick hello to the frequent and new customers with a friendly, genuine smile. I left this review because people like this caring woman are really hard to find anymore. She truly cares about people and her job. Wish I can clone her for my business! She’s a keeper!

Very clean laundromat. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Washers and dryers look fairly new and have been clean every time I’ve been here. No need for quarters. They have a card you put money on (with cash or credit). My only complaints would be it is long and narrow and even though they have plenty of washers and dryers it can be tough moving around when they are busy. Large washers are $5.99. Small washers are $2.99. I think dryers are 8 minutes for 35 cents.

Best place in town in my opinion. I’ve been going to them for around a year now and will continue to go. They wrap everything in plastic after it is cleaned. You can ask them to use bleach, fabric softener, whatever you like. Amazing customer service. This is one of the few remaining places that actually care about the customer.
