I had a great visit today! The store is charming, well-organized, and surprisingly affordable for a toy store. The cashier was friendly, and I bought a stuffed animal armadillo and some animal good luck charms without any regrets.

This place was a blast! They had everything from 90s books to anime figurines. Seriously, books, board games, stuffed animals, pins, figurines, you name it! A fantastic spot to find Studio Ghibli, superheroes, Rilakkuma, Hello Kitty, Scooby-Doo, anime – it felt like they had something for everyone. A fun store, and I’ll definitely return.

Still the top choice for a large toy store. They have a wide selection of toys organized by theme, making it easy if your child has a specific request. Affordable prices, so with a bit of planning, you can leave without breaking the bank! The staff is great with kids and knows their stuff. Can’t wait to return!

The new location is great, with all the stuff from the old one but in a cool new building. They’ve added more adult collectibles and expanded the games and imaginative play toy sections. They now have a variety of high-quality wooden imaginary play toys from Tender Leaf, like a blender and coffee maker. Prices are a bit higher, but it’s a small local business, so it makes sense. It looks like they might bring back the ice cream as well!

Nunia Busines
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

Lots of toys here! From tiny ones to big, huggable ones. I picked up a drug store blind box, cowboy stickers, and a peas-in-a-pod fidget. The bag they use for your toys is really cute too. Even if you don’t plan to buy anything, it’s a fun place to go with friends and window shop!

I’ve been going to Toy Joy since their original location on Guadalupe first opened. I was worried about the new location living up to the old one, but I can confidently say that Toy Joy is still one of the best toy stores in the world.

We went shopping for a birthday gift, and our salesperson was great. I can’t remember his name, but he’s the bald guy with the beard. He really knows his Legos. We found what we needed and joined the VIP program. We’ll definitely return!

I really like this Lego store location! They’ve numbered the Disney figures, so you can pick the one you want. I was looking for Baymax, but it wasn’t on the shelf. Billy found one in the back for me. Seth handled my purchase and double-checked that it was Baymax. There was also a tall guy with cool floral Lego earrings who greeted us when we came in, but I didn’t catch his name. It was a great experience at this Lego Store. I’ll be coming here regularly.

Lukas G

The Lego store is AWESOME. It’s clean, spacious, and the employees seem to enjoy their work. They have a spot where you can create your own Lego figure, and the Lego keychains are cool.

A cool hidden gem. Took my anime-loving kid there, and they had a bit of everything. Got some Demon Slayer Lego minifigures for him. I got lost in the nostalgia of Transformers. Worth mentioning, if you’re into Gundam, they have one of the biggest selections I’ve ever seen.

I ordered Cang Toys figures, and the online order was processed quickly. I received them in excellent condition within 2 to 3 days of shipping. I’ll order more figures from Toy Dojo soon.

Great experience for toy enthusiasts, whether you’re a casual shopper or a dedicated collector like me. Despite its small size, they’re packed with fantastic figures and model kits, including Hasbro and rare 3rd party Transformers. I left with two highly sought-after super minipla items at an excellent price yesterday.

One of the few local places with a good selection of action figures for sale. Great store, friendly staff. Prices are a bit above MSRP, but I prefer supporting a local business that’s not common in Austin, and it beats ordering online.

A great place for those unique pieces you can’t find elsewhere. The staff was very helpful and took the time to help my son with his project. Highly recommended if your child enjoys building their own Legos. My daughter even created her custom piece from spare parts they had. Definitely recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

Wonko’s is amazing for several reasons. They have a great selection of games, old-school toys (including many classic Star Figures and vehicles), and the best Warhammer model collection in Austin! Currently, they offer a fantastic place to play Warhammer 40k, with an escalation league on Monday and Thursday evenings. The store has two sections: one with merchandise, a few gaming tables, and another dedicated entirely to gaming. It features tables, a couch, a projector, and fantastic terrain. The store owner is fantastic; I’ve always found everyone there to be helpful and extremely friendly. Wonko’s doesn’t feel like a typical store; it’s more like a friend’s place with fantastic things to buy.
